Job Scope
We are seeking an Operations Assistant to support our logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination of shipments and inventory management.
Job Description: Your job scope will include but not limited to
- Coordinate shipments, including scheduling pickups, preparing shipping documentation, and tracking shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, including monitoring shipment status and addressing any issues or delays
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related data
- Provide support to the logistics operations team as needed, including assisting with order fulfillment and managing customer inquiries
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, including conducting regular inventory counts and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and customers, to ensure smooth logistics operations
Familiar with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Office
- Logistics management software
Soft Skills and Knowledge:
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics or operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of logistics processes and procedures, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
